Launch of ACCESS-AD Consortium

Too many people with Alzheimer’s disease still face long delays in diagnosis, limiting access to treatment, support and care. With almost 10 million people living with dementia in Europe today, and numbers expected to double by 2050, action is urgently needed.

ACCESS-AD is a new pan-European initiative working to bring Alzheimer’s disease innovations into routine clinical practice. This Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) project focuses on timely diagnosis, equitable access to treatment, and real-world delivery of disease-modifying therapies and interventions across diverse healthcare settings.

As partners, GatesVentures and InRAD are driving the project’s registry and data backbone so innovations reach patients faster and more safely across Europe.
